My name is Jacqueline Ely and I’ve been training horses professionally since 2002. I believe in a simple approach to communicate with the horse and build a relationship through trust and respect. I utilize a vast amount of groundwork and in-hand exercises with all horses regardless of their training prior to my time with them. No matter the horse breed or discipline I feel it is important to establish proper basics and a solid foundation. Get the most out of your relationship with your horse by calling me today.

First Steps of a Horses Journey
I believe the early years of training a horse are incredibly important. This is when they should develop a strong foundation and learn the very basics. A great start sets them up for a lifelong of success and happiness. I work at the horses pace and design a program fit for their needs. All of the horses I start under saddle will spend time with round pen basics, work on the lunge, in-hand work, long line work and transition to ridden work. I spend time with desensitization and my program also includes work outside the arena.
Competing and Coaching
If you are interested in competing with your horse I offer services to help you prepare for this exciting time. I am also available to take your horse down centerline. Developing a horse into a competition horse should be a fun low stress process. I have a great deal of experience taking horses to their first outing. I can assist you with taking your horse up the levels and make sure you can give your very best!
